We are living a dream since the moment when Elena Anaya and Antonio de la Torre mentioned our work in the list of nominated for the Spanish Academy Award (Goya). We want to thank the support to so many talented people who made this project come true. See you in February in Madrid!

Voice Over has won the “Runner up” price in the first edition of the “Shot on Red”  Film Festival celebrated in Los Angeles.

We are delighted with the wonderful news: Voice Over has been selected to be in competition in the most important film festival for shorts: Clermont Ferrand. It is known as the Cannes for shorts… We’ll be there in February!

It is a tradition for me to go to the Spanish Cinema Now every December. They screen the best of the Spanish Cinema of the year in the Lincoln Center (New York).
That’s why I’m so excited to have Voice Over selected for this festival. The screening will be on Sunday 9th at 2 pm. Details and tickets here.

Voice Over has won a new award in this festival in UK. International Open Best Film. We are delighted with this new award.

Voice Over has won the Best National Short Film Award at Zaragoza Film Festival. It has been a pleasure to be there to pick up the award on behalf of whole team, once again congratulation to all those who made Voice Over.
Besides watching good films, I had the opportunity to meet, among others, Enrique Urbizu (No rest for the wicked, Box 507), one of the best spanish film director.

This week in New York, Voice Over was screened in this film and commercial Festival,One Screen, and we won Best of the Show. We are really happy and thankful for the awards, but more important for the reaction of the people when they see our short film.

This is the biggest danger of success… In the picture, our producer of Voice Over,Chano Álvarez, right after getting 2 new awards in Orotava Film Festival, is stalked and about to be devoured by a bunch of women. Rest in peace…

Voice Over has won Best Narrative Short (Silver Plaque), at Chicago International Film Festival. This is the note that the jury wrote about it: The Silver Plaque for Best Narrative/ Live Action Short is presented to VOICE OVER. Stuck on another planet, attacked by monsters, crawling through mud to save loved ones, and being dragged to murky depths by a vessel thought to be your salvation – there is no explicit way to describe the feelings outlined at the culmination of in Martin Rosete’sVoice Over(Spain).  The jury awards a Silver Plaque for the film’s art direction, technical mastery, riveting script, compact editing, elegant yet tongue-tied narrator, and a reminder of adolescent and adult struggles for life and love.

This week Voice Over is being screened in hundreds of theaters worldwide, thanks to festivals like Manhattan Shorts and Shnit Film Festival. Fran Guijarro sent us this picture from San Francisco, where our work was screened in one of the oldest theaters in that city.
